STICKWITHTHECOLORS drifted out a bit when sprinting clear near the six furlongs pole, stayed slightly off the rail the turn, was still clear in mid stretch, drifted out near the sixteenth pole and dug in tenaciously. MALIBU MOONSHINE , lightly steadied behind the winner clearing the gap, was taken to the inner rail near the five eighths pole, stayed there and closed gamely inside the winner. GOLD DIGGING BROAD lacked speed, swung to the seven path in upper stretch and rallied outside horses. SPENCERIAN , forced out leaving the starting gate, chased the pace, circled the turn three wide and gave way the final furlong. ROYAL WHISPER impeded rivals when bearing out sharply leaving the starting gate, chased the pace from the two path around the turn and gave way the final furlong. SPENCER TIARA , a forward factor in the two path around the turn, chased the winner to the stretch then gave way. CALL ANOTHER PLAY , checked when bumped and pinched back leaving the starting gate, was four deep entering the turn, moved to the inner rail leaving the bend and failed to be a factor. BOURBON BON BAY circled the turn three wide, floated out in upper stretch and gave way. ANGEL ART , unhurried behind horses, was eased. Following a stewards' inquiry and an objection by the rider of CALL ANOTHER PLAY, ROYAL WHISPEER was disqualified and placed seventh. An objection by the rider of MALIBU MOONSHINE against the winner for alleged interference leaving the chute was not allowed.
