CIRCLE P edged up outside rivals leaving the five eighths, emerged in the clear exiting the far turn and tracked a hotly contested pace, circled three to four wide into the stretch, closed in steadily under left handed asks and just got up at the wire. S S SINATRA prompted the pace to the inside of SPEEDYNESS then drew on near even terms into the turn, sparred from there, gained a slim advantage leaving the sixteenth marker, continued on valiantly but got the worst of the nose bob. SPEEDYNESS , urged to the front, held a short lead in about the two path then left the far turn in a head to head battle outside S S SINATRA, dueled through sharp fractions around the turn and into the lane, fought on with a slim advantage in mid stretch, ceded the lead with about a sixteenth to go then gave way grudgingly between rivals. SEVEN'S ELEVEN , off the duelers while saving ground, was guided out three to four wide into the lane, gave hard chase past mid stretch but could only muster up a mild rally. HITTHEROADJAK broke a step slow, was put to a ride early on while well off the rail, was fanned four to five wide into the stretch and came up empty. FEELING WOOZY , off the pace and off the inside, was under asking five wide into the stretch but failed to respond. FREEZE THE FIRE chased the duelers while off the rail, lacked a punch past the three eighths and faded between rivals.
