Footnotes
HOT STOTT hugged the inner rail, disputed the pace and drove clear late. TINY LAKE disputed the pace in the two path between horses and finished gamely. ARTILLERY GUNNAR broke alertly, was rated back shortly after the start, stalked the pace, swung to the four path at the head of the stretch, took aim on the lead in upper stretch and weakened. GREY FLANNEL BOSS lacked speed, stayed near the inner rail on the turn, swung to the four path entering the stretch and gave way. BUOYANT , three deep around the turn, disputed the pace to the stretch then faltered. BOOKITWITHHADDAD circled horses on the turn, was fanned five wide turning for home and dropped back.
