MISSED THE TURN stumbled at the break, quickly recovered and edged up three deep early on, stalked three wide and clear of rivals around the turn, moved up and bid four wide outside BERNIE THE STAR soon into the lane, wrested command a furlong out, edged clear under left handed asks, switched over to his correct lead leaving the sixteenth pole and turned away an outside run from CREED'S VISION. CREED'S VISION broke outward, corrected and raced forwardly inside rivals past the five eighths, steadied back out of a tight spot soon after, was angled out and put to a ride leaving the far turn, circled five wide with an advance into the stretch, ranged up to loom boldly leaving the furlong grounds. continued willingly but was denied. BERNIE THE STAR angled in when being sent clear near the five eighths, set the pace towards the inner rail, drifted three wide into the lane, straightened and dueled to the inside of the winner past the three sixteenths, kept on willingly to about the sixteenth pole then faded. VINO'S VALENTINE steadied as the leader was angled over near the five eighths, regrouped and edged up between runners, gave hard chase three wide into the lane, shifted in past the three sixteenths but came up empty late. KLIMT MASTER , in a bit tight at the break, saved ground off the pace and failed to get involved. LUCKY ONE TIME drifted in a bit a at the start, steadied soon after when in close, was used off the rail heading to the half, lacked a punch past the three eighths and retreated. An objection by the rider of VINO'S VALENTINE against BERNIE THE STAR alleging interference in the opening furlong was not allowed.
