Footnotes
LET'S HAVE A PARTY sped to a brief early lead, drifted out a bit and brushed with an outer LIGHTNING BOSS into the first turn, was rated back off that one then secured the inside, tracked under firm rating, awaited room from the far turn to the five sixteenths, responded to asking and slipped through along the rail to join the embattled leaders into the lane, kicked clear under solid left handed encouragement in mid stretch then held firm while kept to task. LIGHTNING BOSS brushed with the winner when moving up four wide into the first turn, went to a clear lead past the seven eighths then set the pace in about the two path, was joined by an outer foe leaving the three eighths, ceded command between rivals soon into the lane, battled back leaving the three sixteenths and gave game chase to the wire. MR. MENDELSLEW prompted the pace three wide outside the leader, bid to apply more pressure leaving the three eighths, moved to a slim lead three deep in upper stretch, failed to quick with the top pair in mid stretch then finished evenly while clear of the rest. FLASHY DUDE , bumped and pinched back at the break, corrected and settled off the pace, edged up behind foes nearing the far turn, offered a mild move between rivals leaving the three eighths, shifted out four wide for the drive and came up empty. NOTMYFIRSTRODEO broke a bit outward bumping with FLASHY DUDE, straightened, edged up behind foes then steadied off heels approaching the backstretch, angled out, moved up three wide near the half, chased four wide past the five sixteenths and faded.
