Footnotes
IRISH HERO broke out and bumped MAIN LINE CIPHER at the start, set the pace on the inside and shook away leaving the turn and drifted out slightly by the sixteenth marker and held sway late to prove best, driving. TOUGH WORKOUT prompted the winner three to two wide and tracked that rival leaving the turn, ran on willingly to be gaining late but could not get by. MAIN LINE CIPHER bobbled at the break, settled early and four wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and rallied well but needed more. FORMAL AFFAIR was bumped at the start, reserved on the inside, two to three wide on the turn and swung out six wide leaving the turn and had a late rally. SUPER BOURBON tracked the early pace and three wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane and weakened in the lane. SPEAKERIT was out-sprinted early on the inside and stopped. Jockey on number six claimed foul against the winner for alleged interference in the stretch, after the Stewards reviewed the replays the OBJECTION was not allowed and the race was left as is.
