Footnotes
SIPPIN' TIME stalked the early pace four wide, then tracked the leaders four to three wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane and rallied well to get up late and then hold of the fast closing AUTUMN IN VERMONT to prove best under a drive. AUTUMN IN VERMONT bumped and squeezed back at the break and trailed early on the inside, eased out on the turn and swung out seven wide leaving the turn and closed gap fast late. SHE'S A GEM was bumped at the break, tracked the leaders while keen and made an early move on the inside to get thru on the inside entering the turn, dueled for the lead on rail and made a bid leaving the turn to shake clear, but weakened late and was caught while lasting for the show award. PAPERBACK EDITION dueled for the lead on the outside, two wide on the turn and faded in the drive. THIRD TUESDAY chased the pace and was three to four wide on the turn and had no kick. GIRL GONE WILD was settled early, came seven wide into the lane and had no serious rally. LADY LEMONCELLO broke out and bumped with a rival at the break, vied for the lead on the inside, then was in between rivals by the seven sixteenths, fell back and chased the pace on the inside on the turn and weakened. AUNT MARGARET bumped at the break and then showed good early speed in between rivals, then was a bit rank by the half mile marker and then fell back on the turn and stopped.
