LEVISA showed good speed from the inside to set the pace while unchallenged, well handled on the turn while saving ground and was sent down leaving the turn and dug in gamely to remain clear to the wire to prove best. HATEFUL was well rated early on the outside, made a four wide move nearing the quarter pole and ran on willingly but could not get to the winner while being second best. BAD TEMPER lunged a bit at the break, tracked the pace three wide, then was two wide on the turn while advancing, between rivals leaving the turn to the furlong marker and flattened out while staying on for the show award. BEACH ISLAND tracked the early pace, saved ground on the turn and came two wide off the bend while in contention but needed more late while on the inside late and just missed the show award. SWEET TALIA was reserved on the inside and saved ground on the turn but offered no rally. OUT OF LUCK was reserved early, two wide on the turn and failed to menace.
