HIGH PAF , caught in tight quarters leaving the starting gate, rushed up four deep leaving the backstretch, circled horses on the turn, gained the lead in upper stretch, went clear in mid stretch and lasted. SHKHARA FIRE saved ground around the turn stalking the pace, advanced through a narrow opening along the rail in mid stretch and closed gamely. CHICKIN LICKIN lacked speed, worked between horses in mid stretch, swung outside near the sixteenth pole and rallied. SHE'S NO UNCLE bumped LIFT THE LID when bearing in at the start, sprinted to the early lead, saved ground on the turn, drifted off the rail in upper stretch and tired. LIFT THE LID bobbled slightly at the break, was bumped and pinched back by SHE'S NO UNCLE soon after the start, recovered, prompted the pace two wide on the turn and weakened. ATLANTIS QUEEN bobbled slightly at the break, bumped with YOUMAKEMECHARLIE leaving the starting gate then was not a factor. SASSAFRASSNESS raced in the two path on the turn, swung four wide turning for home and gave way. YOUMAKEMECHARLIE bumped with ATLANTIS QUEEN leaving the starting gate and was no factor. There was a stewards' inquiry concerning the start but no action was taken.
