MINISTER FOR MAGIC bobbled slightly at the break, quickly recovered and prompted the pace outside ALILNALOT, gained a slim advantage between foes into the turn, handled outer pressure while under confident handling mid turn, responded when shaken up in upper stretch and powered away under a drive. CAPTAIN CARDO drafted back off the contested pace, angled out and circled five wide into the lane, shifted further out leaving the three sixteenths and finished with good energy to gain the place. MIDNIGHT RENEGADE , bumped and pinched back at the break, was angled out and rushed up five deep heading towards the half, dropped in a bit and forced the issue three wide outside the winner mid turn, stayed on willingly after that one cleared in upper stretch, chased to deep stretch then faded. CAJUN DREAM broke outward bumping MIDNIGHT RENEGADE, corrected and showed some speed, rated back off the leaders leaving the five eighths then raced between runners into the turn, came back on mid turn, angled five wide and flattened out in the final furlong. LOOSE GOOSE , off slowly when breaking outward and bumping a rival, straightened and moved up towards the inner rail, was close up into the turn, chased mid turn, angled for the drive but finished evenly. SUMO , bumped at the start, recovered and rated forwardly, pulled his way forward four wide between runners nearing the turn, saw the leaders get away mid turn and faded. ALILNALOT , bumped at the break, regrouped and was gunned to the front, set a pressured pace towards the inside, steadied when appearing to want to get out into the turn, dropped back mid turn and failed to recover.
