Footnotes
RED SPITFIRE relaxed four wide tracking from the outside, moved up and bid three deep nearing the five sixteenths, responded when roused soon into the lane, shook clear of ITALIAN WINE nearing the sixteenth pole and held firm under a drive. ITALIAN WINE sped clear early and set the pace in about the two path, dug in when joined by outer foes mid turn, dueled inside the winner from the quarter pole to mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. MANSEEYASWAY prompted the pace three wide, crept closer while between runners near the five sixteenths, shifted out after being able to quicken with the top pair, straightened away and continued with effort. WHO SAYS SO drafted back off the pace and secured the inside, failed to go on after being firmly asked near the quarter pole, faded and was eased late.
