FIGHTERTOWN sprinted clear leaving the chute, stayed off the rail, raced in the two path on the turn, floated out a bit and prevailed under urging. FAN CLUB circled the turn three deep, angled to the five path straightening out for the drive and rallied mildly. DADDY YANKEE caused a jam up when bearing in leaving the chute, stayed outside the winner while in pursuit around the turn and weakened in the drive. MURRAY , bumped by AZTEC during the jam up leaving the chute, remained along the rail chasing the leader around the turn, moved to the three path in upper stretch and weakened. AZTEC , checked when bumped and pinched back leaving the starting gate, was not a factor and swung to the six path in upper stretch. TOP BLOOD bumped with AZTEC when forced in by DADDY YANKEE leaving the chute, rated behind horses on the backstretch and dropped back through the stretch. There was a stewards' inquiry concerning the opening furlong but no action was taken.
