Footnotes
DIVINE ARMOR lagged back off the pace and well off the inside, angled out to about the seven path gathering some steam into the stretch, altered back in a few paths past the three sixteenths, bid inside rivals past mid stretch, kicked clear under a strong drive with about seventy yards to go, switched over to his left lead and held sway. ALWAYS GAMBLING , bumped at the break, settled in the clear and about four wide, crept closer mid turn, angled out then was fanned to about the seven path as QUINCANNON drifted soon into the lane, corrected and closed in, challenged outside rivals leaving the furlong grounds and kept on gamely. QUINCANNON , confidently handled four wide stalking the pace, moved up and bid three deep mid turn, wandered out to about the six path when clear in upper stretch, straightened and clung to command under a drive past mid stretch, was joined from both sides soon after and gave way grudgingly. CAPTAIN CARDO settled off the pace, angled out for the run around the turn, chased four wide mid turn, swung eight wide into the stretch, dropped back in a few paths nearing mid stretch and churned on. I AM THAT I AM saved ground while off the early pace, gained under a hustling ride past the three eighths, eased out and went around a tiring rival entering the stretch, shifted in back in then flattened out. ENERGY EFFICIENT tossed his head a bit leaving the gate, was sent up soon after, prompted three wide, bid between foes around the turn, pressed into the stretch, shifted in some but failed to go on through the final three sixteenths. HOME SCHOOL , off the pace, was ridden along outside a rival mid turn and failed to respond. BREAK THE CHAINS broke inward bumping a foe, straightened and went clear leaving the chute, set the pace towards the inside, failed to resist while ridden mid turn, faltered entering the lane and was eased through the final furlong.
