GENERAL MAXIMUS , bumped at the break, stalked between foes nearing the half then to the inside of FORTHELOVEOFRUN leaving the three eighths, went on the attack between horses with a quarter to go, drifted out a bit when taking command in upper stretch, spurted clear under a drive, switched over to his left lead and widened under asking in the final furlong. ALL FRUITS RIPE , bumped at the break, settled back off the pace and off the inside, gathered momentum three wide in upper stretch, split rivals leaving the sixteenth marker and finished with interest while gaining the place. D HOPPER was gunned inside of foes soon after the break then cleared, set the pace towards the inner, rail, was joined past the five sixteenths, battled into the lane, stayed on willingly after the winner cleared then faded in the final seventy yards. FORTHELOVEOFRUN stalked four then three wide, moved up under a ride and bid three deep near the quarter pole, was floated out a path in upper stretch, gave futile chase past mid stretch then faltered through the final fifty yards. BIG DILEMMA bobbled slightly at the break, angled in early and dropped off the pace, saved ground into the stretch but failed to respond. ON SECRET SERVICE , urged inside rivals chasing the early pace, angled out leaving the far turn, raced well off the rail in upper stretch and tired.
