WORCESTER drafted back off the pace while about five wide, dropped in a few paths heading to the half, crept closer leaving the three eighths then worked between runners past the five sixteenths, shifted out five wide soon into the lane, closed in under right handed asks and exchanged a brush when engaging an inner NEW KING nearing the sixteenth marker, wrested command with about seventy yards remaining then edged clear. NEW KING tossed his head a bit leaving the gate, quickly recovered and edged up to a forward spot, relaxed in the clear while tracking a contested pace, moved in when given his cue leaving the three eighths, bid four wide to engage SEVEN'S ELEVEN with a quarter to go, took over in upper stretch, edged away slightly under a drive in mid stretch, dug in when confronted and brushing with the winner near the sixteenth pole then gave way grudgingly through the final yards. SEVEN'S ELEVEN pressed the pace three wide outside BARTLETT, bid to apply more pressure into the turn, poked a head in front past the three eighths then briefly cleared under a ride, stayed on when collared from his outside entering the stretch, fought on inside foes past mid stretch then faded very late. CIRCLE P angled out early and settled off the embattled leaders, circled five wide making a bit of headway past the quarter pole but failed to kick on through the final three sixteenths. FACTOR IT IN edged up inside early on and stalked, worked around a tiring foe near the quarter pole, swung out to about the six path in upper stretch then faded. BARTLETT set a pressured pace towards the inside, was under a ride clinging to the lead near the three eighths, ceded command soon after, faltered approaching the stretch and was eased late.
