Footnotes
IT'S HAMMERTIME broke outward, quickly corrected and was confidently handled shadowing the leader, moved to command past the five sixteenths, edged clear in upper stretch, dug in and denied an outer bid from REGGIE RUNS ROGUE in mid stretch, was kept alert with a couple of right handed asks and eagerly widened in the final seventy yards. REGGIE RUNS ROGUE , firmly rated stalking outside a rival, was put to some asking and angled out leaving the five sixteenths, ranged up four wide in upper stretch, briefly threatened the winner in mid stretch, failed to match strides but continued on with good energy. BARBADIAN RUNNER rated off foes in the opening furlong, was put to a ride leaving the three eighths, angled out five wide for the drive but could only muster up a mild response. DO IT FOR MICHAEL was urged along setting a pressured pace towards the rail, ceded command past the five sixteenths, kept on willingly to mid stretch then faded. SAXTON , nudged along chasing the pace towards the inner rail, eased out under firmer asking past the five sixteenths, lacked a punch into the stretch and tired through the final furlong.
