BABY OSCAR bore in leaving the starting gate, assumed the lead leaving the turn, remained off the rail and prevailed under urging. BLIND EYE came out slightly at the start, worked between horses the far turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch and rallied. ANNIHILATE 'EM , three wide both turns, was well positioned turning for home and flattened out. KALADIN stayed near the inner rail and passed tired horses. OWHATANITE , three wide the first turn, raced in the two path on the far turn and weakened. STORM FORCE stumbled when pinched back leaving the starting gate, circled the far turn four wide and was not a factor. FURIOUS GEORGE , rated back on the first turn, stalked the pace along the inner rail and gave way. OYSTER SOUP , well placed outside horses on the backstretch, gave way. LONGWORTH was outrun. An objection by the rider of STORM FORCE against BABY OSCAR for interference leaving the starting gate was not allowed.
