CAP COM showed speed then was rated off the leaders in the opening quarter mile, responded when given his cue leaving the three eighths, bid three wide between horses to take a slim lead into the stretch, dueled to the inside of STRONSINO from the quarter pole, maintained a slim advantage under a hearty drive leaving the furlong grounds then edged away through the final sixteenth. STRONSINO saved ground advancing into the turn, eased out nearing mid turn, ranged up and bid four wide outside the winner into the stretch, battled head to head past mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. BE BETTER settled well off the rail early on, dropped in a bit and was ridden along between horses nearing the lane, shifted out five wide but could only muster up a mild response. LEGAL DEAL , inside and off the pace, worked outward in the drive and had some belated interest. FREEZE THE FIRE , unhurried early while well off the rail, circled four wide int the stretch but lacked a serious finish. MAGIC MULE rated three wide early, was under asking around the turn and faded. GOODBYE NOTE cleared early and set the pace in the two path, was pestered a bit by an inner foe nearing the far turn, failed to contain outer threats into the stretch and weakened near mid stretch. LITTLE LANCE accelerated inside foes early on, prompted to the inside of GOODBYE NOTE into the turn, lacked a response past the three eighths and faltered.
