TOM HAGEN , rated along the inner rail stalking the pace, moved up on the far turn, eased out to the three path entering the stretch, gained the lead in mid stretch and dug in stubbornly to prevail. KING'S RIVER , three wide the first turn, stayed along the inner rail on the far turn, swung outside in upper stretch and closed gamely. SPLENDOR BEAUTY prompted the pace outside MINISTER FOR MAGIC, gained a short lead leaving the backstretch, raced inside the winner in the stretch and finished gamely. MINISTER FOR MAGIC took the lead at the start, remained along the inner rail, stayed prominent to mid stretch then weakened. MR MATUSCHEK void of speed, waited for room in upper stretch, worked between horses and passed tired ones. MASTER OF NONE raced three wide the first turn and failed to be a factor. ROLLERCOASTER MAN brushed with QUINCANNON at the start, was three wide on the far turn, got fanned five wide entering the stretch and lacked a rally. QUINCANNON brushed with ROLLERCOASTER MAN at the start, stalked the pace under snug rating into the backstretch, raced three wide on the far turn, was fanned four wide entering the stretch and weakened.
