Footnotes
TUCK CHECK rated off heels when a bit keen heading to the first turn, secured the inside for the backstretch run and was firmly in hand leaving the five eighths, idled along from the three eighths to about the quarter pole, found room as SUNNY SPELL (IRE) angled out soon into the lane, burst through along the inside to engage the leader leaving mid stretch, took over soon after and eagerly cleared under some right handed encouragement. CHANTILLY ROAD lost ground five wide into the first turn, settled well off the rail for the backstretch run, gained outside rivals nearing the quarter pole, shifted out some for the drive and finished with good energy to gain the place. MISS ELLARY vied with rivals then cleared around the first turn, set a rated pace towards the inside, maintained a daylight advantage while off the rail in upper stretch, dug in when joined from her inside leaving the furlong grounds, gave way grudgingly and was edged for the place in the final yards. MAGIC IN THE PARK was jostled between runners at the break, steadied off heels into the first turn, recovered and rated off the pace leaving the five eighths, traveled three deep past the five sixteenths, angled out for the drive and finished well. SUNNY SPELL (IRE) , inside stalking the pace, took closer order past the five sixteenths, angled out entering the lane, pursued past mid stretch then faded. ROYAL WINTOUR rated along between rivals a long way, steadied when lacking room into the lane, angled out four to five wide soon into the lane, was guided further out in the course for the final furlong but came up empty. MAGICALLY VANISHED , roughed at the break, was taken well wide for the backstretch run then failed to get involved. TURF ROCKET , off last when sandwiched between runners at the break, regrouped and edged up saving ground near the three quarter pole, steadied soon after then saved ground, eased out past the three eighths, steadied off heels soon into the lane then shifted in for the final furlong. FORCE OF LAW showed speed then rated off the clear leader, stalked two wide, was pushed along past the five sixteenths and weakened. YOUMAKEMECHARLIE bore out at the break bumping a rival and causing a chain reaction of trouble, corrected and edged up to stalk three wide, took closer order between runners into the far turn, pursued to the head of the lane then weakened.
