Footnotes
ALANI chased the pace outside horses, circled the turn three wide, was fanned five wide in upper stretch, took command approaching the eighth pole then drew off under brisk urging. HAPPY CLOUDS prompted the pace outside MISS HARRIET, challenged for the lead between horses while floated to the four path in upper stretch and continued gamely while no match for the winner. MISS HARRIETT sprinted to the early, saved ground on the turn setting the pace, drifted to the three path in upper stretch and tired in the drive. CENTRE COURT CHAMP stayed along the inner rail on the turn, swung to the six path in upper stretch and was not a factor. CAP CLASSIQUE hopped at the break, trailed throughout and raced along the inner rail around the turn.
