NAPTOWN stalked the pace inside horses down the backstretch, saved ground the far turn, found room along the inner rail through the stretch, secured command in mid stretch and drew clear under urging. PRIMED TO GO lacked speed, raced six wide turning for home and rallied. SALTED CARMEL , unhurried between horses down the backstretch, remained between rivals on the far turn, advanced in the three path turning for home, gained a short lead in upper stretch and continued gamely. KING MENDELSSOHN lacked speed, swung to the seven path in mid stretch and passed tired foes. COUNTRY CHARLIE sprinted clear mid way down the backstretch, set the pace near the inner rail, left the turn in the two path and gave way. CRABCAKES N BEER was checked in tight quarters along the inner rail leaving the far turn. TWIST 'N TWIRL , three wide the first turn, chased the pace, raced in the four path between horses on the far turn and gave way. RECTOR , three wide the first turn, circled the far turn five deep and gave way. BLANCHES MULE , unhurried while wide the first turn, was not a factor. FORTHELOVEOFRUN chased the pace from the three path down the backstretch and gave way in upper stretch.
