Footnotes
OPPOSITE THE CROWD bobbled slightly at the break, had speed inside rivals then rated back near the five eighths, eased out and edged up under a ride into the turn, chased the duelers then bid three deep to take over after a half, spurted well clear and under a drive in mid stretch then maintained a comfortable advantage to the wire. ANONYMOUSLY , away alertly, was pushed along outside the winner in pursuit of the embattled leaders, raced four wide mid turn, shifted in a bit while unable to keep pace with the winner nearing the lane, kept on willingly though and was able to hold down the place. I CAN DO IT broke a bit slow then was urged off the pace while in the clear leaving the far turn, angled five wide for the drive, straightened to make some progress leaving mid stretch then flattened out very late. ISABELLA'S GLORY drifted out at the break and brushed with NEOLITHICA, lagged off the pace, swung out five to six wide for the final three sixteenths and offered a belated response. SPANISH DELIGHT , away alertly, got into a heated battle outside NEOLITHICA after about a sixteenth of a mile, carried that scrum past the five sixteenths, failed to contain the winner's outer bid and weakened. NEOLITHICA , brushed at the break, was sent up between foes soon after and joined the pace fray, dueled to the inside of SPANISH DELIGHT, stayed on to about the head of the lane then succumbed.
