PIT STOP MAN , off the pace and under a ride leaving the far turn, angled six wide for the drive, leveled off when put to a serious ride in upper stretch, sustained a grinding run under pressure, wrested command from THE WOLFMAN in deep stretch and won going away. THE WOLFMAN was sent up to the inside of rivals to take a short lead, handled outer pressure heading into the turn, spurted clear and was nursed along past the five sixteenths, raced off the inside into the lane, denied an initial outer threat from ABUELO PAPS near mid stretch, wandered outward, was unable to fend off the outer charge from the winner then gave way grudgingly. ABUELO PAPS broke outward, corrected and raced off the early pace, was put to a ride and commenced a run leaving the far turn, quickly gained three then four wide into the stretch, ranged up to loom outside THE WOLFMAN in mid stretch but failed to sustain. BIGDADDYSBOY lacked speed, angled seven wide with some momentum into the lane, advanced nearing mid stretch, shifted in and kept on with effort. MY MAMBA , showing improved speed, prompted the pace while saving ground around the turn, gave hard chase near mid stretch and faded. TENAX had speed to dispute the early pace outside THE WOLFMAN, saw that one clear leaving the far turn, lacked a punch past the three eighths and faltered.
