Footnotes
HAD TO HAVE HIM flashed speed inside foes then was rated back nearing the half, eased out and edged up under confident handling past the five sixteenths, circled five wide into the lane, altered out off the heels of a drifting PLAY HARDER near the three sixteenths, corrected, closed sharply under a solid hand ride to take over a sixteenth out then was going away at the wire. PLAY HARDER , a bit sluggish from the gate, was nudged up soon after and stalked a contested pace, bid three deep leaving the three eighths, drifted out a bit entering the lane when battling outside WHERE'S RAY, straightened and took a brief advantage in mid stretch, failed to contain the winner's outside bid, faded but was well clear of the rest. WHERE'S RAY dueled two wide on a short lead outside LITTLE LANCE, edged away slightly leaving the three eighths, was encountered by PLAY HARDER soon after, battled into the lane, had his rider nearly lose the crop near the three sixteenths then weakened in the final sixteenth. LITTLE LANCE had speed and dueled to the inside, was pushed along leaving the five sixteenths and tired.
