SAXTON showed speed inside horses, saved ground around the turn disputing the pace, opened a clear lead in mid stretch, drifted out near the sixteenth pole and was kept to his business in the drive. BOLD DIVERSION stalked the duel, swung to the four path leaving the turn and rallied outside rivals. GREAT HEAVENS , four deep leaving the backstretch, advanced three wide to bid for the lead approaching the stretch and weakened late. ELVIS HIMSELF disputed the pace between horses to the stretch then weakened. EL DIVINO NINO lacked speed, swung to the four path leaving the turn and retreated through the stretch. JOLLY BOSS , outrun, stayed along the inner rail on the turn.
