IN MY MEMORIES bore in at the break soundly bumping SEASIDE ROAD who in turn was forced into TUNED TO THE MOON, corrected and settled in the clear off of a contested pace, angled out mid turn and circled four wide with a run into the lane, took over outside the embattled leaders in mid stretch and drew clear under a drive. SHKHARA FIRE , quickly to the front, took outer pressure from rivals into the turn, emerged in a duel to the inside of TUNED TO THE MOON leaving the five sixteenths, fought on past the furlong grounds, kept on gamely and earned the place. SEASIDE ROAD , bumped and forced into TUNED TO MOON by the winner leaving the gate, steadied when pinched soon after, regrouped and was taken to rate off the inside, gathered momentum five wide into the stretch, straightened away and closed willingly to just miss the place. TUNED TO THE MOON , jostled at the break, recovered and attended the pace three deep, left the five sixteenths in a battle outside a rival, fought on between foes leaving mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. NANCY MARY , off the contested pace while saving ground, was urged along mid turn, shifted out for the drive and churned on. BAYTOWN BUTTERFLY failed to menace. MARGARITA DAZE vied between foes, failed to keep pace mid turn and retreated. An objection by the rider of SEASIDE ROAD against the winner for alleged interference leaving the gate was not allowed.
