GREAT ARTIST saved ground the first turn, stayed along the rail down the backstretch, eased out to the three path on the far turn, swung wide in upper stretch, took the lead near the sixteenth pole and drew off. GLADSTONE stalked the pace down the backstretch, eased outside entering the far turn, circled foes three wide, bid for the lead inside the eighth pole and continued willingly. STORM FORCE lacked speed, raced along the inner rail leaving the backstretch, eased out to the two path on the far turn, swung outside in mid stretch and rallied. ARJAY chased the pace outside D HOPPER, challenged for the lead inside the eighth pole then gave way. D HOPPER sprinted clear soon after the start, remained along the rail setting the pace and gave way the final furlong. LET FLY bumped with OWHATANITE leaving the starting gate, was not a factor and left the far turn four wide. OWHATANITE bumped with LET FLY at the start, raced three wide the far turn and was not a factor. BLACKTHORNE BRUSCA , outrun, swung wide for the stretch run and passed tired horses. WALKER'S GAP chased the pace inside horses and weakened. TRIP SWITCH , wide the far turn, was not a factor. FORTHELOVEOFRUN was outrun. JO BEE BRAT dropped back on the far turn.
