THOSEWERETHEDAYS was sent up outside a rival to take over in the opening furlong, cleared into the turn then dropped in to set the pace, responded when shoved along and spurted away into the lane, kept on under left handed asking past mid stretch and held firm to the wire. DANCING DENAE broke alertly and held a brief early advantage, rated back off the winner into the turn and stalked towards the inner rail, came under a ride heading towards the stretch, eased out soon into the lane and finished gamely to slowly gain. NO MORE CALLS broke a bit slow, quickly recovered and edged up three wide approaching the turn, dropped in a path and bid outside the winner mid turn, could not quicken with that one while under a ride into the stretch, stayed willingly to mid stretch and faded. ZIMBA , sluggish towards the inside, failed to respond. BABY BOBBY broke slowly, veered out soon after, was urged off the inside after being corrected, failed to kick on leaving the five sixteenths and retreated.
