Footnotes
PEDIATRICIAN vied outside a foe leaving the chute then cleared and set a rated pace off the rail, was joined from his outside by ARTIST MARK with three furlongs remaining, kept that one at bay while confidently handled leaving the five sixteenths, edged clear into the lane, opened up after being set down leaving the three sixteenths then maintained a comfortable advantage while kept alert. DRILL BABY , bumped and put in tight leaving the gate, was checked sharply and forced in some soon after, regrouped and raced four wide into the turn, gathered some momentum leaving the far turn, circled four wide with pursuit of the leaders into the stretch, kept on willingly through the final furlong and gained the place. ARTIST MARK quickly reached contention heading to the five eighths, tracked three wide outside the winner, moved to engage after a half mile, pressed the pace to upper stretch, stayed on with willing pursuit past mid stretch then faded late. VENETO , bumped and forced out by MIKE'S MAGIC leaving the gate, circled the turn four to five wide, moved up on his left lead in mid stretch and churned on. KITTY'S SON , jostled at the break, was taken up sharply soon after, circled six wide into the stretch and finished with interest. REGALO PERFETTO broke outward and bumped with a rival, was urged along off the rail leaving the far turn, advanced between runners approaching the stretch then flattened out some late. SNOWY NIGHT bobbled and bumped with an inner foe at the start, found himself far back into and around the turn, saved ground nearing the lane, eased out and offered a belated response while working between rivals. BREEZING UP , bumped at the start, pulled his way forward between runners early on, tracked into the turn, was under pressure mid turn and weakened. MIKE'S MAGIC bore out at the break bumping a rival and causing a chain reaction of trouble, corrected and vied inside the winner leaving the chute, eased back off that one nearing the five eighths to stalk, failed to go on under a ride in upper stretch and tired. HOPPERTUNITY WU , bumped and in close at the break, had some traffic issues soon after, moved up along the rail after a recovery, lacked a punch while saving ground leaving the three eighths and faltered.
