SASSAFRASSNESS broke inward and bumped with CHASE BY THE MOON, corrected and prompted the pace three wide outside MELANCIA, moved to the attack with three furlongs remaining, wrested command into the stretch, opened up under a drive nearing mid stretch then improved her advantage while steadily hand ridden through the final sixteenth. ESROH , in range four wide entering the turn, took closer order past the five sixteenths, pursued three wide in upper stretch and kept on with good energy to be second best. MELANCIA sped clear early, set the pace in the two path, met the winner's bid and battled into the lane, failed to kick on past mid stretch and faded. COUNTRYCLUB COUPLE , off last after breaking in the air, regrouped and quickly gained while saving ground past the five eighths, tracked leaving the far turn, was put to a ride mid turn, shifted out for the drive and faded. CHASE BY THE MOON , bumped at the break, lagged back off the pace while saving some ground, swung out in upper stretch and failed to respond. JUSTHEART drafted back early, dropped in some and was under asking two wide mid turn, lacked a kick from the head of the lane and weakened.
