BAND CAMP steadied at the break and tossed his head about, regrouped and was taken wide leaving the chute, moved up four wide under rating nearing the half then stalked, bid three deep near the quarter pole, dueled on a short lead outside EXPLORATION leaving the three sixteenths, kept on under left handed asks and shook clear through the final yards. EXPLORATION prompted the pace three wide, moved under a ride and bid between runners leaving the five sixteenths, fought on to the inside of the winner past mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. WAR MASTER settled off the pace, was under pressure mid turn, angled six wide for the drive and could only muster up a mild kick. CLASSIC JOKE rated close up while saving ground, waited briefly near the quarter pole, swung out five wide for the drive but came up empty. FREEZE THE FIRE was sent to the front, set the pace two wide, moved clear leaving the three quarter pole, remained clear under coaxing past the three eighths, was joined past the five sixteenths, battled inside runners into the stretch then weakened through the final three sixteenths. UNION FLEET , towards the inside, failed to menace.
