Footnotes
WHISKEY AND YOU had a shoe repair in the paddock, broke alertly and prompted three deep early, dropped in a path and bid to press THE WOLFMAN leaving the far turn, saw that one get away a bit in upper stretch, came back under strong handling to re engage nearing the sixteenth pole, wrested command soon after and was edging away a bit at the wire. PIT STOP MAN , four wide stalking the pace, was under a ride chasing the leaders into the lane, shifted out wider past the three sixteenths, kept grinding through the final sixteenth and just got up for the place. THE WOLFMAN was hustled clear early, set the pace towards the inside, took outer pressure from the far turn to the quarter pole, spurted away a bit while under a drive past the three sixteenths, wandered outward when taken back on by the winner and gave way grudgingly. MY MAMBA , urged off the pace and off the inside, made progress past the five sixteenths, angled seven to eight wide in the lane and churned on. ABUELO PAPS stalked the pace between rivals, eased back a bit near the turn, was shoved along mid turn, angled four wide in upper stretch, made a mild run behind foes past the three sixteenths, shifted back in and faded. JESTER'S SONG gave hard chase while saving ground, failed to kick on near mid stretch and faded. MIDNIGHT RENEGADE , sluggish while under a ride, failed to get involved.
