BIG BIG STAR assumed the lead, remained along the rail setting a leisurely pace, was hooked by UNINVITED GUEST in upper stretch, dueled with that one and determinedly prevailed in an extended drive. UNINVITED GUEST stalked the pace, advanced outside the winner to bid for the lead in upper stretch, dueled and just missed in a game effort. CONSULTANT stayed along the inner rail stalking the pace, eased outside in upper stretch, was in striking position and flattened out. JOE stayed along the inner rail on both turns, swung outside in mid stretch and had a slight rally. PRINCE KHOZAN lacked speed, raced in the two path between horses the far turn, had room inside rivals in the stretch drive and failed to rally. ALWAYS GAMBLING bumped with COLPO D'ORO leaving the starting gate, circled both turns three wide and was no factor. COLPO D'ORO bumped with ALWAYS GAMBLING at the start, stalked the pace outside horses down the backstretch, raced in the three path the far turn and was not a factor.
