NORMANDY HERO bumped with BY THE SEY SHORE leaving the starting gate, prompted the pace outside RETAINED in hand, took command approaching the stretch, was set down in mid stretch and held sway under urging. BOSS IS A PAL raced slightly off the rail on the turn and chased the winner in a game effort. B DETERMINED lacked speed, circled the turn four wide, floated farther out in mid stretch and rallied outside rivals. BY THE SEY SHORE bumped with the winner at the start, worked between horses in the stretch and rallied mildly. RETAINED sped to the early lead, remained along the rail on the turn and weakened in the drive. MEAN JAKEY worked between rivals in the stretch and weakened. ISLAND D'LITE , three wide on the turn, weakened. JUST SAY WHEN , rated along the inner rail around the turn, was set down in upper stretch and failed to rally. SUE LOVES BARBADOS bumped with SIN PERMISO at the start and was outrun. SIN PERMISO was outrun after bumping with SUE LOVES BARBADOS leaving the starting gate.
