Footnotes
BROTHER CONWAY broke inward and bumped with FIVE DREAMS, corrected and attended the pace outside BACKINTHEWOODS, moved to a slim lead between foes mid turn, dueled to the inside of EL DIVINO NINO from the head of the lane, stayed on tenaciously under left handed asking and narrowly proved best. EL DIVINO NINO , perched three wide off the embattled leaders, bid three deep nearing the five sixteenths, appeared to gain a slight edge approaching the quarter pole, stayed latched on to the outside of BROTHER CONWAY through the lane and finished up gamely to just miss. MURRAY , sluggish early as a contested pace went on up front, saved ground leaving the five sixteenths, angled out with momentum in upper stretch, worked further out for the final furlong and closed willingly. HOLY SYNCHRONICITY dropped to about the two path nearing the half, chased three wide into the lane, shifted out in mid stretch and closed to the inside of MURRAY. NEON SIGN rushed up early, chased the leaders while four wide, gained slightly nearing mid stretch then flattened out. LITTLE LANCE broke in a tangle and was away towards the back, regrouped and settled off the pace, circled five wide into the lane, was fanned wider while advancing towards mid stretch then failed to seriously sustain. BACKNTHEWOODS broke sharp and set a pressured pace inside, lost the lead nearing the five sixteenths, chased to upper stretch then tired. FIVE DREAMS , off last when bumped at the break, raced well off the pace while saving ground and failed to generate a run.
