DRILL BABY , squeezed back at the break, recovered and quickly gained outside rivals heading to the half, tracked the dueling leaders under some rating past the three eighths, moved to engage three deep soon after, forged to command once set down into the lane, opened up under a solid drive in mid stretch then cruised home through the final yards. MIKE'S MAGIC grazed the outer portion of his stall, veered out sharply soon after, corrected and rushed up to join MANSEEYASWAY leaving the five eighths, dueled on a slim lead leaving the far turn, fought on between runners approaching the stretch, was no match for the winner leaving the three sixteenths, switched over to his left lead and wandered outward in deep stretch tightening VENETO. DECORUM , bumped at the break, chased the leaders under a hustling ride three to four wide, brushed with VENETO when trying to advance inside the sixteenth marker and kept on with effort. VENETO flashed speed then eased back off the leaders to stalk, shifted out in upper stretch, stayed on his left lead, brushed with an outer foe inside the sixteenth pole then was put in close when trying to work between rivals late. DIVINE SWAGGER , off the pace, saved ground entering the lane, came out some in the drive and finished with some interest. MANSEEYASWAY sped to the front, dropped in then was hooked by an outer foe, sparred into and around the turn, raced inside a pair of rivals into the stretch, failed to kick on past the three sixteenths and weakened. WORK SMARTER broke a step slow, bobbled soon after then failed to get involved. Following an objection by the rider of VENETO, MIKE'S MAGIC was disqualified from second and placed fourth for causing interference in deep stretch.
