Footnotes
SPEEDY ALEX saved ground around the turn, eased out to the two path at the head of the stretch, challenged for the lead between horses in upper stretch, dueled outside LIGHTNING BOSS and determinedly prevailed in an extended drive. LIGHTNING BOSS showed speed along the inner rail, dueled through the stretch and just missed in a game performance. FABELMAN bobbled slightly then came out leaving the starting gate, angled to the six path in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. BIRRAVINO BLVD stalked the pace behind horses on the turn, eased out to the four path turning for home, failed to be a threat and split tired horses late. VILALUZ , forced out at the start, rushed up four wide on the turn, led into the stretch and tired the final furlong. BLUE MARBLE was outrun. ANNIHILATE 'EM chased the pace between horses, came into the stretch in the five path, drifted out and gave way. MR. MENDELSLEW prompted the early pace from the three path and weakened.
