Footnotes
PACO THE TACO MAN prompted the pace outside ALL THE HARDWAYS into the turn, sparred between rivals from the three eighths, gained a slim advantage soon into the lane, kept on determinedly between runners and proved resolute to the wire. INTREPID'S LEGACY , off a bit slow when hitting the gate, steadied soon after, regrouped and was taken wide, rolled up and bid three deep leaving the far turn, gained a short lead past the five sixteenths, battled outside an inner pair from the head of the lane and finished gamely to earn the place. ALL THE HARDWAYS sped to the front and set a pressured pace towards the inner rail, stayed on after being headed near the five sixteenths, fought on to the inside of top pair through the final furlong and gave way grudgingly. DON'T WAIT UP settled off of the contested pace and off the inside, shifted four wide for the drive and closed steadily outside runners. FEAR NOTHING bobbled at the break, saved ground and came up empty.
