STRAIGHT ARROW bumped with CROSSLAND leaving the starting gate, circled both turns three wide and advanced outside MONGOLIAN APPLE to take the lead near the sixteenth pole. MONGOLIAN APPLE sprinted clear leaving the first turn, moved to the inner rail on the backstretch, was clear in mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. EMERGENCE , allowed to settle early, stayed along the inner rail around the turns, swung outside in mid stretch and closed. GREEN BEANS chased the pace and weakened in the drive. CRABS N BEER lacked speed, worked between horses in the stretch and passed tired ones. LUCA MACHINE saved ground under rating on the first turn, raced in the two path between rivals turning for home and lacked a rally. BRIGHTY , a forward factor along the inner rail for six furlongs, weakened in the drive. CROSSLAND , jostled on both sides leaving the starting gate, was outrun. KORU , never a factor, raced along the inner rail through the stretch. SAM STORMY bumped with CROSSLAND at the start, circled the far turn three wide and faltered.
