FLOREANA , four wide and outside rivals pursuing the pace, shifted out six wide for the drive, closed steadily on her left lead while under a drive and got up between foes. NIAL AND PRAY , taken to rate while saving ground, angled out leaving the far turn, came seven to eight wide into the stretch, straightened away, rallied in tandem outside the winner, drew on near even terms in deep stretch, finished gamely and lost the bob. EMPRESS WARRIOR , fractious in the paddock, broke a beat slow, recovered and accelerated to a clear early advantage, ceded command to an inner foe leaving the far turn, sparred in about the three path past the five sixteenths, moved away after being shaken up in upper stretch, was roused once right handed leaving the furlong grounds, was shown the crop and mildly hand ridden inside the sixteenth pole and gave in late. CURLENE'S JOKER stalked inside a rival early on, eased out was urged chasing between runners into the stretch, shifted inside and came up empty. VEKOMAMONA stalked outside a rival, angled four wide under a ride into the lane, chased past mid stretch and faded. RIVA RED , four to five wide between runners near the half, chased three wide mid turn and weakened. MENINA BONITA steadied off of a rival early, dropped in and quickly moved up to join the leader into the turn, dueled on a short lead near the five sixteenths, failed to kick on in upper stretch and tired. LEVINA broke slowly, dropped well back around the turn, saved ground into the stretch and failed to respond.
