SEWANEE INN got away alertly and pressed the early pace then assumed command on the turn and opened up into the stretch, winning while ridden out. JESSE MARIE settled early then waited through the turn before splitting horses into the stretch and rallied late for place. ALWAYS OURS got shut off at the start then rated mid-pack early before angling seven wide into the stretch and made a late gain. HUGH'S LEGEND rated in the second flight early with a five wide trip then was urged to contend at the 3/8 pole before drifting out in the stretch and was outfinished. NEWS OF THE WEEK was fractious in the gate then was hustled away between horses and moved up to set the early pace before being headed on the turn and gave way in the stretch. GOOD WISHES raced close up between horses and chased the early pace before drifting to the six path at the 1/4 pole and made a bid but faltered in the stretch. SHE'S THE MOAMENT stumbled at the start then moved up and raced in the second flight early, flashing brief foot before fading. SOUPER TAYLOR stumbled at the start then broke outward before moving up to chase the early pace along the inside then was asked into the stretch but made no rally. A. P. CLASS settled early then was urged to contend nearing the 1/2 pole but had no response and dropped back then never threatened. DR. EVANS was void of early speed while tucking in to save ground but never factored.
