READY SET stalked outside horses in hand, advanced to take command at the head of the stretch, pulled away and was under brisk urging until the sixteenth pole. THOMSON FALLS chased between horses in a willing effort. IMPERIAL CHARTER sped to the early lead and was taken to the inner rail, was overtaken turning for home and weakened in the drive. VENTUROUS saved ground around the turn, moved to the two path in upper stretch and failed to rally. NO LAW remained along the inner rail most of the trip and was never a factor. CASS NINE , three deep pursuing the pace to the stretch, tired. TO ETERNITY bumped with HURRICANE MATTIE leaving the starting gate and was outrun. HURRICANE MATTIE stumbled then bumped with TO ETERNITY leaving the starting gate.
