DO THE RIGHT THING broke on top and led through the opening sixteenth, ceded to an inner foe then stayed on to shadow that rival while confidently handled, took command after being set down leaving the three sixteenths, spurted clear under left handed asking inside the furlong grounds and held firm. BET ME stumbled at the break, recovered and sped up to the inside of the winner to take over after a furlong, handled outer pressure into and around the turn, failed to match strides past mid stretch, gave way grudgingly on his left lead and held the place. BOSTON GREY found himself towards the back after being bounced around between rivals leaving the gate, regrouped and took to some rating while saving ground, was guided outward near the five sixteenths, swung five wide with momentum into the stretch, straightened away after racing a bit green, switched over to his correct lead past the eighth pole, finished up with good energy to bridge the gap and kept on nicely through the gallop out. AFTER ALL , three to four wide pursuing the pace, failed to kick on leaving mid stretch and faded. JERSEY CORN , bumped at the break, rushed up towards the inside nearing the half mile marker, was under coaxing pursuing past the five sixteenths and faded. MATT'S VENTURE came in at the break and bumped with BOSTON GREY, trailed while off the rail into the turn, lost ground four wide mid turn and failed to generate a run. PLAYIN FOR GIN , off the pace, raced three wide between rivals around the turn and weakened.
