SOMETIME was hustled away aggressively, dueled outside LIL SEBASTIAN into the turn, put that rival away after passing the three-furlong pole, opened up turning for home and drew clear in the late stages under steady handling. FAYES HEART tracked close to the dueling leaders down the backstretch, then moved up to challenge SOMETIME late on the turn, was unable to threaten that rival but kept on well to finish a clear second. HELL OFA HILLBILLY racked behind the dueling leaders while keeping to the inside, responded when asked to advance approaching the quarter pole, came five-wide for the stretch run and made mild headway to move into third despite ducking in under right-handed urging near the sixteenth pole. LIL SEBASTIAN broke sharply and was guided to the front to duel with SOMETIME down the backstretch, began to weaken with three furlongs to run, came under a stiff drive approaching the stretch and tipped out to the three path, then drifted into the path of HELL OFA HILLBILLY in upper stretch without making contact, but flattened out and failed to threaten. DANCING DENAE was kept just off the pace in the two path alongside HELL OFA HILLBILLY, began to struggle to keep pace on the turn, then had little to offer in the drive for home. STARSHIP MAGELLAN was void of early speed despite coaxing from the rider, trailed far back but was kept to task and passed a tiring rival near the finish. ELLINGER broke inward at the start and was away a bit slowly, fell off the early pace while keeping to the inside, appeared not to handle the going and offered nothing in the late stages.
