ONE WHIRLWIND RIDE set a pressured pace on the inside, then spun two wide off the bend and dug in gamely in the final furlong to hold off BIG Z OG to prove best under a drive. BIG Z OG was well placed on the inside, made a inside bid and was slowly gaining but could not get by the winner in a good effort. SHAPE NOTE prompted the pacer two wide and spun three wide off the bend but faded in the final furlong, held show award. MISSION MAN was settled on the inside, cut the corner leaving the turn and had a mild late rally but needed more. INTREPID'S LEGACY stalked the pace on the outside three wide on the turn, came four wide off the bend and weakened. JUST ASK WATTS was settled early, two wide on the turn and had no punch in the lane. RUFFNER was bumped and squeezed back at the break relegated to trail early on the inside, swung out six wide leaving the turn and had no rally.
