SHENADOAH SUNRISE angled in early and tracked a four then three way pace scrum, angled five wide for the drive, closed steadily under strong handling and got up in the final strides. CURLENE'S SPIRIT , hard used two wide and between horses early, inherited the inside after a rival backed out, sparred inside a pair of rivals from the five sixteenths to mid stretch, shook clear under a stout drive leaving the sixteenth pole, kept on gamely but just failed to fend off the winner. KNICKOLETTA hopped at the break, regrouped and was used wide to contention, battled four deep into the turn, held a slim lead three deep past the five sixteenths, clung to the advantage outside foes past the furlong grounds then faded late. KUAGA , three then two wide disputing the pace between horses, stayed willingly to the sixteenth marker then weakened late. MAXPOWER , off the pace, was urged along three wide into the stretch but failed to muster up a solid run. FORTY SEVEN SMOKER sped to an early lead along the inside, fought inside a trio of runners into the turn, failed to kick on past the three eighths and weakened. JUDY G , five wide early, was outrun. HOPING , inside, dropped back.
