Footnotes
TAKE A HINT , four deep leaving the turn, angled in when sprinting clear on the turn, raced along the inner rail through the stretch and held sway under brisk urging. UNCLE CAT bumped with JOLLY BY GOLLY leaving the starting gate, showed speed between horses, failed to keep pace with the winner on the turn then gamely chased that one through the stretch. MAGIC SPIN , wide leaving the backstretch, remained well off the rail around the turn and chased the winner in an even effort. SHERIFF RONNIE worked between horses on the turn and into the stretch then failed to rally. TOPS THE CHART hugged the rail entering the turn, moved to the two path leaving the bend, stayed inside foes and lacked a rally. ELECTRIC EEL was no factor. JOLLY BY GOLLY bumped with UNCLE CAT at the start, raced wide into the turn and was not a factor. GOLDEN CANDY showed speed, hugged the inner rail around the turn and gave way. JOHN JAY trailed.
