Footnotes
OUTRUNNER showed speed then rated back off the leaders into the first turn, tracked inside through the backstretch run, awaited room near the quarter pole, angled out leaving the three sixteenths, swerved out sharply after being roused left handed soon after, corrected heading towards the sixteenth marker, closed rapidly under pressure and reeled in MAGICAL MONDAYS to prove best in the final yards. MAGICAL MONDAYS , bumped at the break, straightened and edged up to a forward position outside the winner, got the jump on that one and bid three deep in upper stretch, took over from embattled rivals while racing a bit greenly in mid stretch, lugged in while clearing, kept on gamely but just could not resist the winner's charge. DATS TAP shadowed the leader while well in hand into the backstretch, moved to apply more pressure into the far turn, dueled as the pace quickened past the five sixteenths, stayed on battling between runners approaching mid stretch then faded late. LEX'S GAME sped clear early and set a rated pace towards the inside, dueled from the far turn to mid stretch, failed to seriously go on past the sixteenth maker and fader. ARCTIC OUTBREAK , bumped and squeezed back at the break, moved up four wide to be forward nearing the half, remained wide with pursuit and offered a mild late response. ALIGN steadied when a touch rank behind a rival and saving ground early, remained inside leaving the far turn, eased out for the drive and had a slight kick. ROLL ON JESSE hopped slightly at the break and was bumped, edged up three wide and to the inside of a rival past the five eighths, raced between runners leaving the three eighths but came up empty. CATALINA STORM failed to menace. ECLIPTICAL ZIP broke outward and bumped with a rival, settled early off the inside, was used five wide and rushed up into the far turn, chased past the five sixteenths then weakened in the drive. CAN YA lagged back early, dropped further back leaving the far turn, was pulled up approaching the stretch then walked off.
