B WEST came in at the break, stalked a three wide pace battle, raced four deep mid way on the turn, was fanned to the six path entering the stretch, took command near the eighth pole then pulled away under urging. NEIGH DUDE hugged the inner rail while disputing the pace, drifted out turning for home, lost the lead in mid stretch and continued gamely. SUMO raced well off the pace battle down the backstretch, circled the turn four to five wide, floated to the seven path in upper stretch and rallied mildly. DR. DOYLE , bumped at the start, trailed entering the stretch, swung to the seven path and passed tired rivals. ICING disputed the pace between horses and weakened. JOHN HALL , taken to the inner rail near the five eighths pole, remained along the rail, advanced to mid stretch then flattened out. JOHNNYFRENCHFRI disputed the pace three wide for a half mile and gave way in upper stretch. HE'S ORIENTATE showed speed between horses down the backstretch and failed to keep pace.
